The Picture

She pointed out the bad things in the picture.

“The subject is dead center,” she said. With a huff, “Didn’t I tell you to follow the rules?” she added.

“I didn’t see it that way,” he conceded.

“It’s too late now. You should have followed the rule of thirds. Don’t forget. You keep on cutting corners,” her tirade continued. “Are you listening to me?”

With a clearer set of eyes, he shook his head. He reclaimed the picture, and walked away without heeding her command to come back.

She succeeded in making him see the bad things in the picture.
